Inauguration of the Maestro Junior Arena
The event will be held this Saturday with the presence of red-black football idols
By Media Relations - inThis Saturday (21.07), from 9am, the Maestro Júnior Beach Soccer Arena will be inaugurated, another space that has been completely revitalized to serve the sports facilities at Flamengo's headquarters, in Gávea.
The arena will be named after one of the greatest players in Flamengo's history: Leovegildo Lins Gama Júnior, known worldwide as Maestro Júnior. The former defensive midfielder, right-back, left-back, and midfielder made 865 appearances for the Gávea club, holding the record for appearances for Flamengo.
The grand opening will feature friendly matches, with the presence of master players and artists such as Toni Garrido, Heitor Martinez, Silvinho Blau Blau, Du Moskovis, Cadu Moliterno, and others. Longtime Flamengo idols such as Zico, Adílio, Claudio Adão, and Julio César Uri Geller will also be in attendance and will showcase their skills in the arena.
President Patricia Amorim and Vice President General Hélio Ferraz confirmed their presence at the event.
The initiative was conceived by President Patricia Amorim and executed by Vice President of Administration and Fla-Gávea, Cacau Cotta.
