At two years and eight months old, Juan stood out, wearing the Sacred Mantle when he was lifted by his father after Eduardo's goal at the end of the match. After that victory, the young man became a symbol of the red-and-black youth fans, and a kind of talisman for the Mais Querido. For Children's Day, celebrated this Sunday (October 12.10), the little fan has already decided on his gift: a victory for the Mais Querido.

Even at his young age, Juan has already joined the select group of Flamengo fans. So much so that when he hears the chants at Maracanã, he immediately starts singing along. "Everyone in our family is truly passionate about the Red-Blacks, but I have a feeling he'll be even more so than all of us. There's no explanation. When we're at the stadium and he hears the 'the party's about to start,' he immediately asks me to lift him up. Once he's up, he starts jumping, twirling his shirt, and singing along with the entire crowd; it's incredibly moving," said his proud father, Rafael dos Reis.

On October 12th, Flamengo will take the field at Maracanã against Cruzeiro, and once again Juan will be present, along with many other young Flamengo fans. "It's great to be able to take my son to the stadium. Some say soccer matches are no place for children and families, but I've always thought otherwise. I've never had any problem taking Juan to Maracanã, and I won't. I'm happy to see that we've been able to further motivate fans to go to the stadium with their families. Today, he enters Maracanã and the crowd chants his name, wanting to take pictures. There's nothing more gratifying and moving than receiving this affection," said Rafael.

Juan's fame has even generated some interesting facts. While on the field for a match of the Mais Querido, the boy walked hand in hand with the players and, on occasion, ended up playing with the defender Wallace's son. Nowadays, every time he passes near the spot where he entered, Juan asks his parents where his friend Lucas, the defender's son, is. Furthermore, his love of soccer inevitably creates expectations in his father, Rafael. "Some say that for his age, Juan already has a certain skill. He already kicks well, even though he's only two years old. If he becomes a Flamengo player in the future, I confess I'll be even more admiring (laughs)," he concluded.
