Despite playing some of the most beautiful football in the competition, Flamengo's youth team finished third in the Monthey International Tournament in Switzerland. The Gávea youth team defeated Kosovo's under-20 team 2-0 this Sunday to win the bronze medal.

Last Saturday, Rivelino Serpa's team ended up being defeated in the semifinals by Tottenham, from England, by 2 to 1, and lost the chance to play the final of the tournament against Hadjuk Split, from Croatia.

The winner of the competition, for the second year in a row, was Tottenham. In the final, the English team crushed the Croatians, winning 3-1.
