The world's largest sticker album company, Panini, launched the album "Campeonato Brasileiro 3" in São Paulo on July 2009rd. The publication, which will be available in other regions by July 15th, features 604 stickers highlighting the presence of Brazilian stars on their teams, such as Adriano at Flamengo. The illustrated book costs R$3,90, and each envelope containing five stickers costs R$0,70. The Panini album is officially licensed by Flamengo and other clubs.

This year's edition features information on the athletes and clubs in Serie A and Serie B. It includes fact sheets on each team's titles, their record against division rivals, and their standings in recent years. The album includes tournament trivia, the regulations for both divisions, and your favorite team's top prospects.

The launch advertising campaign celebrates fan passion and good conduct in stadiums, featuring images of young people and adults with painted faces. With the theme "Crazy for Football," the campaign will be promoted online, on TV, and through several special sampling events, with promoters painting fans and handing out album kits. "We created a campaign that encourages young people to paint their faces against violence in stadiums and cheer with joy and irreverence," said Panini CEO José Eduardo Severo Martins, in announcing the new product.

According to Panini's marketing director, Marcio Borges, a face painting was developed for each club. "To encourage fans to paint their faces in support of their love for the club and against violence in stadiums," explains Borges. "This is an edition to be treasured, even the duplicate stickers. Some time from now, when you take them out of the closet, you can be sure that you'll have great memories," adds Martins.

Panini Brazil is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Panini Group, headquartered in Modena, Italy. The company began operations in Brazil in 1989 and is a market leader in sticker albums, cards, and comics. Panini Brazil's distribution reaches over 30.000 newsstands, 1000 supermarkets, and a large number of Brazilian bookstores and shops.
