In the coming days, two major books, with Flamengo as their main theme, will be launched in Rio de Janeiro. On Saturday (December 07.12th), at 11 am, at the pool bar of the Gávea social headquarters, the launch of "Mengo Meu Dengo – Paixão sem fronteiras" (Mengo My Dengo – Passion Without Borders), by Luiz Hélio Alves, will take place. On December 16th, at 19 pm, Arthur Muhlemberg will launch "Da lama ao tri" (From the Mud to the Three-Times) at the Travessa bookstore, in the Leblon Shopping Mall.

Publicist, blogger, and writer Arthur Muhlemberg wrote this book to help Flamengo fans learn more about their third Copa do Brasil title. "From the Mud to the Third" chronicles Flamengo's journey in 2013: from a difficult start to the crowning glory of the national title.

Published by Maquinaria Editora, the book also features caricatures by Vinícius of the title's main characters. The back cover text is by renowned journalist and writer Ruy Castro, and the foreword is by Roberto Assaf.

"Mengo Meu Dengo – Passion without borders"

"Mengo Meu Dengo – Paixão sem fronteiras" is a book named after a weekly column that journalist, poet, and writer Luiz Hélio Alves maintained on the Flamengo RJ website from 2007 to 2009. It celebrates the Most Beloved in seven chapters. Readers will have the opportunity to learn fascinating stories of iconic fans from across Brazil.

Jaunty chronicles, poems paying homage to heroes of the Mais Querido, articles dealing with Flamengo's relationship with art and a brief historical context about the real origin of the awakening of this true passion without borders form an authentic red and black mosaic based on the author's intense and totalist coexistence with the fantastic and inspiring red-and-black universe during the last six years.

The second launch will take place on December 12th, at 19 pm, at the FLA-Juazeiro Embassy headquarters, at the Alpendre Bar and Restaurant, located in Lagoa de Calu Park, in Juazeiro, Bahia. Soon, "Mengo Meu Dengo – Paixão sem fronteiras" will be available for purchase at the Fla Boutique in the Gávea headquarters and also on the store's website.
