The round table of the bigwigs

At a lunch served at Morumbi, Juvenal Juvencio (São Paulo), Andrés Sanches (Corinthians), Marcio Braga (Flamengo) and Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo (representative of Palmeiras) debated "controversial" topics.

They complained about the level of refereeing and the high-altitude matches. Flamengo takes the lead on this issue, securing the support of São Paulo's Juvêncio in its lawsuit with the FIFA Court of Arbitration to ban matches at altitudes above 2.750 meters. Braga's persuasion bore even more fruit: São Paulo committed to securing Santos' support, while Flamengo's legal department is working on a similar agreement with Fluminense.

Forbidden topic

Face-to-face after the controversy over the dotted trophy for the fifth national championship, Braga and Juvêncio didn't discuss the matter. "The three biggest clubs in Brazil were together. We didn't talk about it. What divides doesn't add. The trophy is the CBF's problem, which has to hand it over to Flamengo," Braga said.

While the presidents discussed more general topics, the marketing vice presidents of Corinthians and Flamengo negotiated the duo's second joint action: an SMS promotion that will distribute prizes to fans of both clubs.
