One of Flamengo's key players in the run that secured the club its sixth Brazilian championship, right-back Leonardo Moura, is enjoying his vacation, but he's still keeping an eye on what's happening in Gávea. When contacted by LANCENET!, the player celebrated coach Andrade's continued leadership of the club. According to Moura, the coach won over the group with his character and dignity:

"Since taking over Flamengo, Andrade has always been clear with the players. He's a guy who speaks and looks people in the eye. A person with character and dignity wins over the group of players and manages to do his job calmly, as he did. I'm happy he'll continue in 2010," he stated.

Looking ahead to 2010, the full-back believes that maintaining the base will be crucial for Flamengo to compete for titles next season:

"My expectation is that Flamengo can have a good campaign and compete for titles. Our first challenge will be the Campeonato Carioca, which is always competitive and difficult. I believe the board should once again maintain the core of the team, as in recent years, and I think this will be important for the next season.
