Wednesday night (February 12.02) at the Gávea headquarters was filled with excitement. In the Main Hall, a mass of Flamengo fans filled every corner of the space to watch the Mais Querido's debut in the Copa Bridgestone Libertadores. The Peugeot Rubro-Negro Lounge featured a large screen with high-definition images and was sponsored by Ambev, in addition to the French automaker. Fla Camp, FlaBoutique, and Fla Tour supported the grand celebration.

In addition to club members, their dependents, and guests, fan members were also able to attend the event. Before watching the match against León, attendees had the opportunity to take photos with Flamengo's historic trophies. Other attractions included appearances by Flamengo actor Thiago Lacerda and three eternal Flamengo idols: Adílio, Júlio César, Uri Geller, and Rondinelli.

Fan club member Gustavo Passos had nothing but praise for the Flamengo Lounge. "Very interesting. It's the first event of this magnitude I've seen Flamengo hold for fan clubs here in Gávea. It exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect it to be so lively. It was a great place to cheer. This place will become the Flamengo stronghold for away games," he said.

Although the game started at 22 PM, the Peugeot Lounge opened at 19:30 PM. From the event's opening until 21:30 PM, fans in attendance enjoyed a special Brahma beer promotion to the sounds of a DJ. A few minutes before kickoff, Adílio, Júlio César Uri Geller, and Rondinelli led a raffle for an official jersey and various prizes.

The Peugeot Rubro-Negro Lounge will also be home to Flamengo members and fan club members for Flamengo's next two away games in the Copa Bridgestone Libertadores. The matches will be held on March 19th against Bolívar and April 02nd against Emelec.
