When he arrived at Flamengo, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo stated in his first press conferences that he would always use the club's training center to work with the professional team. Even without a structure yet befitting the club's stature, the coach adopted Ninho do Urubu as his 'home' and is one of the biggest supporters of the "Flamengo Forever" project.
Aware that a good structure can indeed influence the team's performance throughout the championships played in Brazil, Luxemburgo hopes that the fans will join Flamengo in realizing this long-held dream.
"The training center project is going full steam ahead, and the fans need to embrace this campaign so that this dream becomes a reality. It's the future of Flamengo that's being built now," the coach stated.
This Tuesday (November 09.11th), at 10:30 am, the "Flamengo Forever" project will be launched in the main hall of Flamengo's social headquarters in Gávea. The club's president, Patricia Amorim, the vice-president of assets, Alexandre Wrobel, and the vice-president of marketing, Henrique Brandão, will be present. At the launch press conference, they will explain details of the project, which aims to raise funds for the construction of the professional module of the training center.
