Léo Moura and Renato Augusto's mothers fear Cuzco's altitude

The dramatic scene of Renato Augusto wearing an oxygen mask against Potosí (BOL) in last year's Copa Libertadores shocked his mother, Salete Augusto. She and other family members don't want to see a similar situation again, knowing the risk of the game in Cuzco on the 9th against Cienciano, at an altitude of 3.400 meters.

"I'm very concerned because my son told me what he felt during that game. He told me he felt like he was gasping for air, and with the physical exertion, it got worse. I hope there's a consensus so as not to harm the players," Salete said.

Right-back Leonardo Moura's mother, Lenice Moura, didn't see her son collapse from shortness of breath on TV. But she was moved to tears when she saw her son's teammates struggling to breathe and play properly.

"Léo didn't feel anything. But, as a mother, I was very worried about the other players' health. When I saw the shortness of breath, it felt like it was happening to me. I don't have medical knowledge, but I think playing in Cuzco could be risky. I'm worried," commented Lenice.
