Flamengo's training center receives the exercise bikes that were in Gávea

Officially, Flamengo has temporarily left Gávea and started training at Ninho do Urubu to germinate winter seeds for the pitch at its main stadium. But there's another explanation behind this. GLOBOESPORTE.COM learned that the club has partnered with Technogym and will renovate its weight room with state-of-the-art equipment. Internally, the project is being referred to as the Rio de Janeiro Reffis and will be inaugurated in 15 days. São Paulo's Physiotherapy and Physiological Sports Rehabilitation Center (Reffis) is one of the highlights of its structure. The club's football manager, Isaías Tinoco, avoids comparisons. But he promises to bring Flamengo up to par with other Brazilian clubs: "It was an investment made based on exchange and intelligence. We will make a huge leap in quality. We owe nothing to anyone."

CT benefited

A few months ago, Flamengo began improving its internal structure. First, the club renovated the locker room. The next step was to build an auditorium for lectures and meetings. Flamengo Vídeos e Estúdios was also inaugurated, where technical observer Marcelo Salles, among other duties, catalogs the players of interest to the club.

The "red-black Reffis" indirectly benefits the CT. On the 18th, new equipment will be delivered to the site. But the two exercise bikes that were there until a few weeks ago have already been replaced. \ - I brought everything that was in Gávea here (Ninho do Urubu). We're going to expand the weight room and later, with the CT buildings, we'll model it even more - said Isaías Tinoco. \
