Clube de Regatas do Flamengo is pleased to invite its millions of fans to participate in a blood donation campaign.

Residents of Rio de Janeiro will receive personalized service at HEMORIO, but residents of other cities can and should organize themselves to participate in the campaign as well.

The official campaign will be between February 16th and 20th, as, due to Carnival, blood banks need a good amount of blood to be able to carry out services during this period.

Football players, Olympic athletes, staff and mascots will also be present throughout the week to contribute to the campaign.

Basic conditions for blood donation:

- Bring an official photo ID (original)

- Be between 18 and 65 years old

- Weigh more than 50 kilos

- Be in good health

- Fasting is not necessary. You should only avoid eating fatty foods in the four hours before donating and alcoholic beverages in the last 4 hours.
