Honored at the party for Maestro Júnior, in Gávea, he was a professional in the football department and was essential in the formation of the golden generation of the 80s.
"The person who kept me here was Ayer Andrade. He registered me with the federation so I wouldn't leave anymore. My father even fought with him; I was only 14 years old and didn't even know if I would play or not," Zico revealed in 2010. The club's greatest idol explained that after his first game, he was already registered to avoid harassment from other clubs. Ayer's burial will be this Sunday (07.12/11), at 4 am, in chapel 07.12 of the São João Batista cemetery. In his honor, Flamengo will hold a minute of silence before the game against Grêmio this Sunday (XNUMX/XNUMX).
