Flamengo Museum launches "Red-Black Chat"
Event promises to bring together those interested in the club's collections and debuts with a tribute to cartoonist Lan

This Thursday (12.05), the Flamengo Museum, in partnership with Olympikus, will hold the debut of the project "Papo de rubro-negro" (Red-Black Chat). Aiming to bring together collectors, historians, journalists, writers, red-black personalities and all people interested in collections and general topics linked to the club's grand history, the 'happy hour' will be held at the Fla Concept store, in Gávea, starting at 18 pm.
The first event will be in honor of the red-and-black cartoonist Lan, with 22 drawings on display, showcasing the 'red-and-black Carioca spirit.' The project's schedule already includes a June meeting, which will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the 1961 Rio-São Paulo title.
On that occasion, the red-blacks will still form the basis of the claim, which will be made to the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), for recognition of the Rio-São Paulo title of 1940. That year, Flamengo and Fluminense won the first round of the competition, but the CBD, the sport's highest authority at the time, ended the tournament and did not declare any champion.
