Nixon scores the winning goal for the reserve team in a Brazilian national team training session
Training was held at the Gávea headquarters under the watchful eye of hundreds of club members

Nixon, the red-and-black player, scored the winning goal in the reserve team's 1-0 victory. He was called up to complete the training session for Felipão's group, which is preparing for the friendly against England. The game takes place next Sunday (June 02.06nd) at Maracanã.
Interestingly, the goalkeeper who conceded Nixon's goal is a former Flamengo player: Júlio César. He was named in the starting lineup by Felipão and returned to the pitch at Gávea. The number 1, now playing in English football, was trained in the Flamengo youth ranks and is an avowed fan of the most beloved club.
In addition to Nixon, four other red-blacks were called up to participate in the national team's activity: Thomás, Frauches, Samir and Diego Silva. One of the reasons for the invitation was the absence of Réver and Bernard, Atlético.MG players who were not at today's training session because they played for the Minas Gerais team on Thursday night (30.05).
