Mrs. Laura de Carvalho, widow of Jayme de Carvalho, creator of the first organized fan club in Brazil, Charanga Rubro-Negra, passed away this morning.

President Marcio Braga ordered three days of official mourning and requested that a minute of silence be observed before the Flamengo vs. Palmeiras match at Palestra Itália.

The family has not yet announced the time and place of the burial.
