                     Regarding the news published in the newspaper &8220;LANCE&8221;, which circulated today, 17/11/2009, under the title "CADAFALSO", I have to declare the following:

Yesterday, 16/11/2009, I received a phone call from journalist Rodrigo Ciantar who asked me that if there was a representation made by a candidate against another candidate for the Presidency of Flamengo, alleging electoral fraud, what action could the Board of Directors take?

                     I replied, without mentioning the name of any candidate, that I would forward the representation to the Permanent Electoral Commission to prepare an opinion, and then I would decide what to do.

                     At no time was the name of Dr. Clóvis\ Sahione mentioned, who, like all the other candidates, deserves my respect and consideration.

\ \

 

\ \

                     Today, 17/11/2009, I spoke with the aforementioned journalist and asked him to correct the mistake, under penalty of being held legally liable for the infamous journalistic note.
