Another new, fully modernized facility was inaugurated this Monday (January 09.01th) at the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo headquarters in Gávea. From today, members will have a new two-story office facing the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park. The space was inaugurated with the presence of President Patricia Amorim, Vice President of Administration and Fla-Gávea, Cacau Cotta, and Vice President of General Secretariat, Alexandre Lima, and will bear the name of the Great Benefactor Colonel Antônio Brocchi, who passed away in November 2011.
"This is a tribute we are paying to someone who cared so much for Gávea's heritage. Now, our office is in the right place, just as he always dreamed. Flamengo is fulfilling its role of serving its members well and honoring a beloved member who did so much for the club. The roots are planted, and now we have to reap the rewards with future generations. I hope they will be beautiful," said President Patricia Amorim, who unveiled the plaque inaugurating the new office alongside Colonel Brocchi's son, Eduardo Brocchi.
"I thank everyone who worked on this project, all the employees, and also our vice-presidents Cacau Cotta and Alexandre Lima. Little by little, Flamengo is creating a new face. And this is the Flamengo we want to have. It's another space we're delivering to our members," concluded the president.
