Flamengo officially announced on Thursday night (August 29.08th) at a cocktail party at its Gávea headquarters its partnership with subscription channel Premiere FC, which will give rise to the new TV Fla. The event was attended by former club players such as Evaristo de Macedo and Adílio, members of the club's top management, including president Bandeira de Mello, Olympic athletes, journalists, and Premiere FC executives. The program will air next Sunday (September 01.09st) at 15:10 pm, during the opening broadcast of the Corinthians vs. Flamengo game. Exceptionally, the signal will be open to all those with subscription TV.

"It's a historic moment for the red-and-blacks. Having a program dedicated to Flamengo on a top-tier channel like Premiere FC is excellent. Fans will see things about the club that aren't on free-to-air channels. You can be sure that the new ratings champion of Brazilian TV is being born," said Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, president of Mais Querido.

Pedro Garcia, director of Premiere channels, also shared the Flamengo president's excitement. "We've been dating for a while. Premiere FC is a service dedicated to fans. Having TV Fla on board is a step forward. This is the beginning of a great partnership and a new era," he said.

The event was held in the main hall of the Gávea headquarters and featured ambient sound, plasma TVs showing key moments in Flamengo's history, and a high-quality buffet. Olivinha, Meyinsse, and Marquinhos, players from the Mais Querido basketball team, were present at the cocktail party, which was broadcast live on Globoesporte.com.

The new TV Fla will feature, among other interesting content, behind-the-scenes footage of professional football, exclusive interviews, and reports on the Olympic sports played by Flamengo. A new edition of TV Fla will be broadcast before the Mais Querido's games on Saturday or Sunday. Throughout the week, Premiere FC will air reruns of the program.
