Due to commitments abroad, businessman Flávio Godinho has asked President Eduardo Bandeira de Mello to step down as Flamengo's Vice President of External Relations. Godinho will continue, now informally, supporting the work of the Board of Directors, without the need for a more constant presence in the club's administration.

Flávio Willeman, current VP of Legal Affairs, will also serve as vice president.
