Striker Obina will be tried again this Thursday, starting at 14 p.m., at the Superior Court of Sports Justice. This time, the Black Angel will appear before the full Superior Court of Justice (STJD) and is expected to be acquitted. The Bahia native was suspended for 120 days and has been absent from Flamengo's Brazilian Championship.

Obina was tried last month for assaulting Internacional defender Índio. The Black Angel left the Superior Court of Justice (STJD) in tears over the punishment. Flamengo's lawyer, Michel Assef Filho, will attempt to acquit the player or reduce his sentence.

The Black Angel was charged under Article 253 of the Brazilian Sports Law Code (assault). The sentence ranged from 120 to 540 days, and Obina received the minimum sentence.

Obina hasn't spoken to the press. The Black Angel preferred to speak to reporters after the trial. The athlete's family has been attending training sessions in Gávea. The player's father, Manoel, is worried and visibly upset about his son's situation.
