The result on the field was disappointing, but fan Fernando Dias has nothing but praise for the service he received from the "Onde Estiver Estarei" program on June 14th in Curitiba, where he watched the Coritiba-Flamengo match at the Couto Pereira stadium. "I was able to confirm that the program has countless benefits, and for me, one key point is that it's an official product of the club, meaning it's backed by Flamengo, which gives us who are purchasing this package a huge sense of security," says the 30-year-old Flamengo fan, who lives in Iraty, Paraná [see http://www.ondeestiverestarei.com.br/html/depoimentos.htm].
Dias is one of the fans who used the services of "Onde Estiver Estarei," an official travel program designed to make life easier for fans willing to follow Flamengo in the cities where the team plays. The initiative is the result of a partnership between Flamengo, tour operator Marsans Viagens, and sports management company Golden Goal Sports Ventures.
The program will offer packages for the club's next match, on July 12th, when Flamengo faces São Paulo at Morumbi Stadium. There are packages from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo, starting in ten installments of R$64,60. The package includes round-trip airfare between Rio and São Paulo with Gol, grandstand tickets, and airport/meeting point/stadium/airport transfers, plus a program gift kit and entry into the drawing for an autographed official jersey. Marsans, the program's official travel agency, can create packages from any city.
