Leovegildo Lins Gama Junior, or simply Junior, as he became known, joined Flamengo in 1974 and made history with the club. During his first stint, he won state, Brazilian, Libertadores, and World Cup titles with the club. He left in 1984, returning in 1989 to win the 1990 Copa do Brasil and the 1992 Brasileirão. He played for the Brazilian national team in the 1982 and 1986 World Cups. He tried his hand at coaching, but is currently a football commentator.
