Flamengo won the Campeonato Carioca yesterday, on a memorable afternoon, in a game that represented the best traditions of our football.

We demonstrated determination, resilience, and commitment to the club's colors and the red-and-black nation.

For all this, I feel obliged to, once again, thank and congratulate our leaders, Vice President of Football Kleber Leite, his directors, Marcos Brás and Eduardo Manhães, Professor Isaías Tinoco, our coach Nei Franco, the professionals of the technical committee and the club's players.

In the days leading up to the decision, our football department acted efficiently, quickly resolving an extremely delicate matter, which was publicly known, ensuring the working environment that led us to victory.

Once Flamengo, always Flamengo.
