To the Red-Black Nation
On the occasion of the last game of the year at Maracanã, the Temple of Flamengo, I feel it my duty to address this incomparable fan base to make a fair record and to make a serious commitment. This record refers to the unique, enviable, and dazzling behavior of Flamengo fans in 2007. A record XNUMX fans attended Maracanã matches. With much love and passion, the fans pushed the team to the Copa Libertadores. The overwhelming majority watched the games with exemplary behavior, high spirits, and no violence.
We are all very happy and proud.
Congratulations Red-Black Nation!
The commitment that I must publicly assume, together with all the Club's directors and employees, is to develop, propose and implement the necessary measures to increase the comfort, facilities, security and satisfaction of Flamengo's fans, throughout the country, in the coming year of 2008.
In this sense, GEASE-FLA, the Special Group for Joy and Safety in Stadiums, is already fully active.
