The night was filled with excitement, tributes, and honors at the official Olympikus store, Fla Concept, at Flamengo's headquarters in Gávea. Renowned athletes from the past and present were the highlights of the third edition of Papo de Rubro-Negro, an event hosted by the Flamengo Museum, which presented the honorees with the "Olympic Memory" medal.

Idols who were and are part of the history of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo filled the store's premises and the atmosphere of joy and relaxation was mixed with nostalgia, as it was inevitable to remember the best moments of their respective sporting careers.

The meeting of generations also marked the evening of the Red-Black Papo. World and Olympic champion Cesar Cielo made a point of attending and learning a little more about the illustrious careers of some swimming pioneers, such as Alfredo Machado, known as Fadola, one of the most applauded by those in attendance. "It's really cool to relive this Olympic memory. It's starting to heat up the Museum's turbines," exclaimed the honoree. Another memorable moment was the presentation of the medal to Maria Elisa Guimarães, received by President Patricia Amorim.

"I only got here because of you. I looked up to you and became objective watching you train. I was little and you were my biggest example, my ultimate 'idol'," revealed the red-and-black leader when presenting the "Olympic Memory" medal.

A similar case occurred with rowing, which paid tribute to and brought together different generations, such as the twins Cláudia and Katia Alencar, Wandir Kuntze and the current world champion, Fabiana Beltrame.

Judo couldn't be left out and was represented by two heavyweight Pan American champions: Frederico Flexa and João Gabriel Schlittler. "This is a family. I started here and I hope to end my career defending the colors of Flamengo, which has always been my home," said the judoka. Rosicléia Campos, current coach of the Brazilian women's judo team, was unable to attend and was represented by her mother, who became emotional during her acceptance speech.

One of the sports that also excited the night was artistic gymnastics, represented by Luisa Parente, two-time Pan American champion and the first Brazilian gymnast to compete in two Olympics. "It's an honor and a great joy to be here today, reuniting with all generations. I make a point of saying that I've always been part of the same club," revealed Luisa, who was accompanied by her husband, basketball player Alexey, and her daughter, Manuela.

Basketball and volleyball were also remembered with the presence of Jackie Silva, the first Brazilian woman to win an Olympic gold medal. In memoriam, Zenny de Azevedo, also known as Algodão, was one of those mentioned in basketball.

On Wednesday night, the following heroes of the red-black history were honored: Angelina Bizarro (basketball), Cláudia Alencar (rowing), Christiane Fanzeres (open water), Doranita (multi-athlete), Erica Lopes (athletics), Érika McDavid (synchronized swimming), Fadola (swimming), Fernando Carsalade (water polo), Frederico Flexa (judo), George Ferreira da Costa (rowing), Ingborg Frick (multi-athlete), Jackie Silva (volleyball), Kátia Alencar (rowing), Letícia Furtado (water polo), Luisa Parente (artistic gymnastics), Marco Monteiro (artistic gymnastics), Maria Elisa Guimarães (swimming), Rosicleia Campos (judo) and Wandir Kuntze (rowing).

In addition to these great names, the achievements of John O'Shea (volleyball), José Mario M. Guimarães (horse riding) and José Telles da Conceição (athletics) were also remembered.
