Papo de rubro-negro will pay tribute to idols of Olympic sports

After two highly successful editions, "Papo de rubro-negro" (Red-Black Chat) will be held again on August 17th (Wednesday) at 19 pm at the official Olympikus (FlaConcept) store at Flamengo's headquarters in Gávea. This time, the honorees will be the club's greatest Olympic sports figures since its founding. They will be presented with the "Olympic Memory" medal, presented by the Flamengo Museum.

In this first medal ceremony, the following heroes of the red-black history will be honored: Angelina Bizarro (basketball), Cláudia Alencar (rowing), Christiane Fanzeres (open water), Doranita (multi-sport athlete), Erica Lopes (athletics), Érika McDavid (synchronized swimming), Fadola (swimming), Fernando Carsalade (water polo), Frederico Flexa (judo), George Ferreira da Costa (rowing), Ingborg Frick (multi-sport athlete), Jackie Silva (volleyball), Kátia Alencar (rowing), Letícia Furtado (water polo), Luisa Parente (artistic gymnastics), Marco Monteiro (artistic gymnastics), Maria Elisa Guimarães (swimming), Rosicleia Campos (judo) and Wandir Kuntze (rowing).

In addition to these great names, the achievements of Algodão (basketball), John O'Shea (volleyball), José Mario M. Guimarães (horse riding) and José Telles da Conceição (athletics) will also be remembered.
