The president of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Patricia Amorim, will not accept the CBF's invitation to lead the women's football delegation at the London Olympic Games.

Although she was touched by the invitation and recognizes the importance of the competition, Patricia has Flamengo as a priority and therefore cannot be removed from the presidency for a period of 30 days.  

Flamengo will continue to keep its doors open to helping the CBF and its national teams in whatever way necessary.
