Patricia Amorim makes the dream of a "Realengo hero" come true
Flamengo president visited boy who called the police and managed to prevent an even greater tragedy at school

Just 12 years old, Alan has already become a hero. Despite being wounded, hit by three bullets during the massacre at the Tasso de Oliveira school in Realengo, he managed to escape, call the police, and prevent an even greater tragedy. While still hospitalized, the boy revealed to staff at the Military Police Hospital (HPM) his deep love for Flamengo.
To bring some joy during such a difficult time, HPM contacted Flamengo president Patricia Amorim and told her about Alan's admiration, suggesting a meeting, which was immediately accepted. This Saturday (09.04), the Flamengo director surprised the boy, who was ecstatic.
"It was great to visit Alan. He had expressed his admiration for Flamengo, and we were contacted by the hospital staff. We obviously agreed to come here to bring him joy. It was worth seeing the smile, the joy on his face. After this tragedy, everyone only talks about what happened, bringing back not-so-good memories for him. I'm happy to have brought joy and spent good times with him," said Patricia Amorim.
The Flamengo president brought a jersey with Alan's name on it and also presented the boy with several club-licensed merchandise. The boy's family also received gifts and, despite the short visit, were amazed by the attention given to the young Flamengo fan.
"We also talked a little about Flamengo, and it's very gratifying to see the sincere love he has for the club. Alan told me that his prediction for tomorrow's game is 4-0 Flamengo. I told him I hoped he was right. We also agreed to take him to training and to have him play with the team in some games. But everything after he recovers. I told him to focus on his recovery first," concluded the Flamengo director, who also signed Alan's jersey.
"I told him that my signature is important to Flamengo on other occasions, like signing contracts. I made that joke with him. Even so, he asked for my signature on the shirt, and I signed it, of course. We said we would publish the visit to him on the website, and he promised to see it as soon as he could, very proud."
