Through an agreement, members of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo are entitled to a 50% discount on tickets to the play "Always Worth It," a relationship comedy written by journalist Maria Fernanda Gurgel. The play reopened last Thursday, March 19, at the Ipanema Theater at 21 p.m., directed by Márcio Vieira. The cast includes Ângela Britto, Carla Pompilio, Windemberg Melo, and Flávio Carriço.
Composed of five sketches that explore a wide range of relationships—between couples, neighbors, a holy man and his client (a socialite), friends, psychoanalysts, and patients—the play humorously seeks to stimulate reflection on all types of relationships. According to the author, it's always worth getting involved in them. "No matter how complicated relationships are, no matter how crazy they are, it's always worth trying. This is the central message of the play, because no one lives alone and everyone has a lot to learn from any kind of relationship," she notes.
Members can enjoy the discount until May 21st, when the play leaves the Teatro Ipanema, upon presentation of their membership card.
