It was 13 days of hard work. That's how the Flamengo squad's stay in Londrina (PR), the city chosen by the Football department for pre-season training, can be described. However, the sweat on their shirts was rewarded by the affection of the people, who warmly welcomed the entire Flamengo delegation. In turn, the players sought to reciprocate with as much attention as possible.

 And the affectionate relationship built between the two had another chapter this Wednesday (January 19.01th), the day Flamengo debuts in the State Championship. Very cordial, the mayor of Londrina, Barbosa Neto, made a point of sending a telegram to the Flamengo president Patricia Amorim wishing, among other things, much success to the club.

Flamengo's visit to Londrina at the beginning of 2011 has already gone down in history as one of the most important sporting events in this city.
