Flamengo president Eduardo Bandeira de Mello attended Flamengo's training session at the Training Center on Friday afternoon (July 26.07) and reiterated his confidence in the Flamengo squad. The president followed the technical and finishing work led by Mano Menezes and, in a press conference, expressed optimism for Sunday's classic against Botafogo.

"I'm sure this team will bring great joy to the fans and that will start on Sunday (28.07/XNUMX). I have a lot of confidence in the squad. Today, I came here to watch the technical and finishing training. I spoke with Paulo Pelaipe (executive director of football) and Mano and I'm sure the team is motivated. Another topic discussed at the press conference was the resumption of construction on modules 16 and 17 of Ninho do Urubu. Both will serve professional soccer and will be completed thanks to a R$5 million grant from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall. President Bandeira de Mello assured that the resumption of construction is imminent.

"As soon as the City Hall's money is deposited into Flamengo's account, construction will begin immediately. The funding is already secured and has only been delayed due to bureaucratic procedures, which is normal for any type of public funding release," explained Eduardo Bandeira de Mello.
