The club is launching shirts, tracksuits and dresses in honor of the great idol; coming soon to official Flamengo stores

Maestro Júnior is one of the greatest stars in Flamengo's history. In partnership with the former player, the club launched a line of licensed merchandise in honor of the idol's 60th birthday in 2014. Delighted with the launch, he made a point of highlighting his historic relationship with the "Most Beloved."
"The product comes with the club's seal and logo, bringing authenticity, which is the most important point. Secondly, the issue of paying homage to my 60 years, 40 of which I spent at Flamengo. In 1974, I won my first Campeonato Carioca here," said Júnior.
The products will soon be available in official Flamengo stores and retail chains. Flamengo fans will be able to purchase shirts, dresses, and sweatshirts. All items are retro and feature the number 5 on the back, Maestro Júnior's signature, and the Mais Querido crest.
"It's almost an obligation for Flamengo to honor its idols. Especially Júnior, who is turning 60. It's the perfect time to seal and solidify this partnership. The material looks beautiful. I already received mine as a gift and I'm going to wear it again soon," said president Eduardo Bandeira de Mello.
Maestro Júnior is one of the leading figures of Flamengo's so-called Golden Generation. He was, for example, part of the multi-champion squad of 1981, the year in which the "Mais Querido" won the Campeonato Carioca, the Libertadores, and the Club World Cup. The idol is also the player who has appeared on the field wearing the Sacred Mantle the most times in the club's history.
