"Today, we are realizing a Flamengo dream. It is at the training center that our future generations will prepare and develop, and this is how we keep the flame of this club, a talent-revealing club, burning bright. My pride as president is in being able to launch this great project, which we share today with fans and associates. The idea of the campaign is to democratize, for all Flamengo fans, the opportunity to participate in building the Flamengo of the future. It's not a project of this board; it's a project of Flamengo. We are proud of that. The campaign will be a great success. Flamengo deserves it. The concentrated effort of all of us is essential. This campaign brings fans closer to the club," he said.
Coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, considered a training center expert, is helping with the project and was another who expressed his excitement about helping Flamengo build its future. He also announced that he will also buy his own "brick."
"I've always said I'm a Flamengo fan, and I've never hidden that, just as I'm happy to be back at the club. My departure from here as a coach marked my football career, so I've always planned to return. Now, I'm returning to help and be part of this project. It's a noble moment. I want to be a part of it, not just as a coach, but also as part of the club's history. I want to buy, I want to help build this Training Center. Being able to actively participate in this is very good for me," he added.
