Packed with stars, the World Cup exhibition is a success in Lages
Rubro-negros were able to see up close idols and trophies from Flamengo's greatest achievements

Last Sunday (April 17.04th) will be marked as a truly red-and-black day in Lages, Santa Catarina. The red-and-black fans of the city and the region were able to see up close the traveling exhibition of the 81 World Cup and, as a bonus, have contact with idols who were part of this and other great red-and-black achievements.
The more than 500 people who visited the Fla-Lages headquarters, the city's national embassy, which hosted the exhibition, were able to see the trophy from the 81 World Cup and Libertadores Cup, as well as the 80 Brasileirão trophy, Flamengo's first. They also interacted with Adílio, Rondinelli, and Lico.
The event was so important that the governor of Santa Catarina, Raimundo Colombo, and the Secretary of Regional Development of Lages, Jurandi Agustini, were present and thanked the embassy for organizing the party.
"I appreciate the gift and congratulate Fla-Lages for bringing together so many people with the same goal, to happily support a club of gigantic dimensions," said Colombo, who spoke on the phone with Flamengo's president, Patrícia Amorim, and received an invitation to visit the club's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
Mauro Chaves, director of the Flamengo Museum, who is closely monitoring the World Cup traveling exhibition, presented the trophies to the governor and presented him with a personalized jersey. He then treated the former players in attendance to a special moment.
Lico, who did not play in the 1981 Libertadores final against Cobreloa, from Chile, because he was brutally attacked in the Santiago match, finally lifted the trophy, in a moment that moved everyone.
"I thank Fla-Lages for giving me this joy," he said.
Rondinelli and Adílio also thanked the fans in the Santa Catarina city for their affection and compared the moment they experienced last Sunday to a title.
"Without you, Flamengo would be nothing," said Rondinelli, followed by Adílio.
"Moments like this are as satisfying as winning a title," concluded Flamengo's eternal number 8.
