After the renovation of the showers at the social pool, it's now the athletes' turn to benefit from the ongoing construction at the Gávea headquarters. The showers are used for sanitation and are located at the entrance to the Olympic-sized pools, where various sports such as water polo, synchronized swimming, and swimming are practiced.

The renovation that began on Monday (23.04) has already pleased many athletes who use the pools every day.

Synchronized swimming coach Roberta Perillier approved the work and all other renovations being carried out by the club.

"The shower is essential for my athletes, and the renovation will be great for swimming and other sports. It's great to see the club undergoing these renovations and becoming more beautiful," said Roberta.

In addition to the showers, renovations to the water park's grandstands are also underway. The renovation was one of the first demands of President and former swimmer Patricia Amorim and is expected to be fully completed in 45 days.

All initiatives were conceived by President Patricia Amorim and executed by Vice President of Administration and Fla-Gávea Cacau Cotta.
