A true star can score great goals off the field, too. And Ronaldinho Gaúcho is one of those. On Friday afternoon (April 15.04), Flamengo's number 10 visited the children, victims of the tragedy at the Tasso da Silveira Municipal School in Realengo, who are still hospitalized. Accompanied by club president Patricia Amorim and Health Secretary Sérgio Cortes, R10 brought joy to two children at the Albert Schweitzer State Hospital and then to two others at the Adão Pereira Nunes Hospital in Saracuruna.

Knowing that it was a special request from the children themselves to meet him, Ronaldinho was very happy to bring some comfort at this difficult time.

"It was very emotional. There were a lot of people around, but I talked to them (the children) a little. I knew they wanted to meet me and I'm here to support them during this difficult time. I'm happy to be able to bring a little joy and I hope they recover. These were my words," said the star, mentioning that the girl Taiane proved to be a die-hard Flamengo fan.

"She's a huge Flamengo fan, but I didn't promise a goal. I didn't know how she'd react, as she's still on medication. He was emotional, and so was I. Football has this power to bring joy to people," said Ronaldinho.

Also moved, Patricia Amorim highlighted the power of Flamengo and Ronaldinho Gaúcho in bringing joy to these children.

"It was a day when Flamengo and, especially, Ronaldinho Gaúcho brought joy to two hospitals. Not only to the victims of the tragedy, but also to nurses, doctors, and other patients. It was a very positive visit," said Patricia Amorim, also mentioning the girl Taiane.

"I was impressed with Taiane. She showed herself to be a huge fan and even asked Ronaldinho for a goal. She even told him to score the goal and show that it was for her," recalled the director, revealing the sensitivity of the red-and-black star.

"It's really worth bringing good things to these children. I noticed that Ronaldinho, like me, was very moved by everything."
