Among the 40 million Flamengo fans, you can find a wide variety of fans, each with their own unique stories and trajectories, but who always stand out for their passion for the Most Beloved. At Flamengo's last match at the Maracanã, against Corinthians, nearly 40 fans attended the stadium, but one fan in particular stood out from the rest. Photographed and filmed by various newspapers, magazines, and websites, 19-year-old Ana Beatriz Teixeira drew attention not only for her fanaticism expressed throughout the 90 minutes, but also for her beauty. Her passion for Flamengo became even clearer when her cell phone number read "1981"—the year of the Most Beloved's World Cup title.

A regular at Maracanã, Bia, as she's known, makes her passion for the Rubro-Negro clear. "I've been going to the stadium since I was little. Before, my mother, my cousin, accompanied me, but from the age of 16, I started going alone. This passion of mine is somewhat inexplicable, because, even though I have relatives who support Flamengo, no one is as fanatical as I am. The club is everything to me. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about it. When one game ends, I already think about another one to buy a ticket. I often go to basketball games too," says the young fan.

During the match, it was clear that Bia, besides being a Flamengo fan, is also a devotee of Saint Jude Thaddeus, the club's patron saint. Kissing, praying, and talking to the image throughout the match, Ana Beatriz explained her beliefs. "I'm a devotee because of Flamengo. I carry that printed image to every match. When the games are more difficult, I bring a Saint Jude I have because it's only for emergencies (laughs). In the last match I took it to Maracanã, unfortunately, I dropped the image, and it cracked open before the match started. I was certain that if I didn't fix the situation, Flamengo would lose. I ran around the stadium looking for some tape or glue. I ended up in the infirmary just minutes before kickoff. The nurse on duty thought I was crazy, but at least she helped me fix the Saint Jude, and Flamengo emerged victorious."

All this passion for the "Mais Querido" earned Bia her "15 minutes of fame" after the red-and-black victory over Corinthians. According to the fan, her social media was flooded with several new followers, likes, and comments. "I'm very happy because I represented the Nation, and people came to congratulate me. My mother made a point of saving all the newspapers I appeared in and showing them to the whole family," said Ana Beatriz.

A journalism student and member of Nação Rubro-Negra, Bia shares another interesting detail about her Flamengo life. "My first formal job was at an official Flamengo store, during Christmas 2013. It couldn't have been better. Now, I plan to pursue a career in sports journalism, precisely to stay close to the Most Beloved."

Bia has already confirmed her attendance at the Fla-Flu match on Sunday (September 21.09). With ticket sales now open for members, she secured her ticket as soon as she could. "I'm traveling this week with my family, but I've already arranged to return early on Sunday so I don't miss the game. Especially since it's Fla-Flu, which has a special flavor. The fans are, and always have been, essential to Flamengo, and I'll do my part again. We're in a good moment, and Paulo Victor is reaping the rewards of so many years at the club, being responsible for a good portion of our victories," she concluded.
