The corridor in front of the Aquatic Park was packed with guests for the inauguration of the new President Eduardo Motta Social Room. On Tuesday night (22.05), around 100 people attended the event, which included cocktails and music, and the presence of the presidents of the Board of Directors, Maurício Gomes de Mattos, of the Fiscal Council, Leonardo Ribeiro, and the vice president of the General Assembly, Carlos Eduardo Mello, in addition to the vice presidents Michel Levy (Finance), Paulo César Coutinho (Soccer), Walter Oaquim (External Relations), Rafael de Piro (Legal), Cristina Callou (Olympic Sports), Alexandre Lima (General Secretariat) and Henrique Brandão (Marketing).

The room's inauguration ceremony was opened by Vice President of Administration Cacau Cotta, who highlighted the board's ongoing efforts to make Flamengo a better club.

"It's a great pleasure to be able to do a little for the club we love so much. Today is a very happy day because we've been able to open another brand-new space for members. One of the main goals of Patricia Amorim's administration is to make Flamengo, which is a sports club, also a social club. And every day, with her help and dedication, we are achieving our goals," said Cacau Cotta, handing over to president Patricia Amorim.

"It's wonderful that starting today we have another space for the Flamengo family to gather. We take great care of our home, and with the participation of our members and the approval of the Board, this project was approved. Another achievement for our board, another accomplishment for our administration. I want to thank everyone present, and especially President Eduardo Motta, who was the inspiration for this project. He never misses a meeting, always present, always offering his opinion. He couldn't miss this moment; it's an honor for Flamengo. Thank you for accepting our invitation," said the president.

The night's big honoree, Eduardo Motta, couldn't contain his emotion.

"I've been a Flamengo member for 66 years and have never stopped going to Gávea. I'm very pleased with this new improvement made by the management. Flamengo has given me little sadness. It has given me much more joy, and today, without a doubt, it is giving me great joy to be able to give my name to this fantastic space. We have to applaud Patricia and thank her for everything she has done at our headquarters."
