A Saturday packed with lectures, discussions, and information about the sports industry. This will be the FIFA Master Rio de Janeiro, to be held on March 14th at the headquarters of the Brazilian Academy of Letters. The seminar, which will be held in Brazil for the first time, trains professionals from around the world. Experts in various sectors of sports management, all of whom also graduated from the FIFA Master Master program in Switzerland, will share their experiences with participants. The developments surrounding the organization of the 2014 World Cup are among the main aspects of the FIFA Master. "Each of the lectures addresses the sports industry from a different perspective. From the business perspective, from the club/federation perspective, the international market, the entrepreneur, mega-event management, and the 2014 World Cup, which is the icing on the cake," says Pedro Trengrouse, one of the event organizers. Trengrouse is legal advisor to the Flamengo presidency and a UN (UNDP) consultant on 2014 World Cup matters. Carlos Eduardo Ferreira, director of Golden Goal Sports Ventures, which represents AC Milan in Brazil, and Andrés Cardenas, from the Rio 2016 Olympic bid committee, complete the trio of organizers. All three are former students of the FIFA Masters program in Switzerland, as are all the other speakers.

Leading figures from Brazilian sports will also participate in the event. João Havelange, honorary president of FIFA, and Orlando Silva, Minister of Sports, will be the opening speaker.
