A sparkle in their eyes and a smile from one corner of their faces to the other. That was the expression on the faces of the club members who boarded the same plane as the team to Uberlândia for the friendly against São Paulo on Saturday morning (June 29.06). All the lucky ones are now in the Minas Gerais city and are at Bar da Nação, where they enjoy unlimited food and drinks, waiting for a talk show with their idols Adílio, Rondinelli, and Renato.
"I'm amazed by the organization. Fan club members are being very well received in Minas Gerais. It was incredibly moving to be on the plane with my idols, and I thought it was a fantastic experience. Only those who are here can describe the emotion. It makes me want to cry," said fan club member Roberto Soares, who will also have the right to watch the game from the field and will receive a player's jersey at halftime.
Silvio Cavalcanti, from Niterói, also paid for the same package as Roberto Soares, bringing his son, little Daniel, with him. "It was really cool. I really enjoyed it. I talked to half the players and they treated me really well. I'm nervous for the game. I just hope the ball doesn't hit me in the face," the child joked.
Dad Silvio is also looking forward to the start of the match: "This is a new experience. The opportunity we're taking advantage of is really cool. It will be a different and cool way to watch the game. I also liked it because my son was very well looked after by the players."
Right now, in addition to the fan club members who came to Uberlândia with the team, there are many Nação members and other fans at the Bar da Nação. There, they can take photos with the Libertadores and '81 World Cup trophies, as well as chat with Adílio, Renato, and Rondinelli.
