They didn't play, but they can say they took the field in the friendly against São Paulo in Uberlândia. Ten Flamengo fans watched the entire match on Saturday (June 29.06) from the field, with the same field of vision as the coaching staff and referees. At the end of the first half, they even received the jersey worn by one of the Flamengo players.

"It was a unique experience, not only because of the position, but also because of the opportunity to have the same perception as the coaching staff, players, and referees. It's extraordinary to watch the game from here," revealed Sylvio Cavalcante, who also took his son, Daniel, to the privileged spot.

The opportunity was part of an experience package offered exclusively to Nação Rubro-Negra members. Among the perks was traveling on the same flight as the squad and coaching staff. "Getting up close and personal with the players is amazing," said fan club member Thiago Braconi. For Bernardo Souza, the most important thing was getting a different perspective on a soccer match. "It's different to watch the game up close. It's much better to experience everything that happened on the field and in the crowd," he explains.
