Flamengo launched, on the morning of this Wednesday (22.09), the club's official mineral water. The event, which took place at the Flashop store, in the Center, was attended by the players of the professional basketball team and the mascots Uruba and Urubinha and attracted hundreds of red-black fans.
The basketball team quickly caught the attention of passersby. It didn't take long for a small crowd to gather in front of the store. After checking out the new water, which features the red-and-black emblem on its label, the players posed for photos and signed numerous autographs for fans.
Point guard Marcelinho, who recently played in the World Cup in Turkey with the Brazilian national team, was one of the most celebrated, as was center Bábby, who is back at Flamengo after a season with Paulistano. Point guard Fred, shooting guard Duda, forward Teichemann, power forward Jefferson, center Átila, and coach Paulo Chupeta were also present at the event.
The mineral water will be sold in 500ml bottles, both carbonated and still, 1,5 liters, both carbonated and still, and in a 5-liter gallon. With this launch, Flamengo expands its portfolio of licensed products and, consequently, the club's revenue through royalties received from the use of the brand. Golstore is the exclusive distributor of this project in Brazil.
