Fan hosts weekly radio program about Flamengo
The next edition, this Saturday, will celebrate the sixth championship

Winning the sixth championship will be the highlight of the next edition of "Mengo Meu Dengo", a radio program that airs every Saturday on Transamérica FM 99,9 radio in Juazeiro/Petrolina.
The program is broadcast live online at www.portaltransamerica.com.br and airs at 15 p.m. (Brasília time). The presenter is journalist and businessman Luiz Hélio Alves de Oliveira, 33, also known as a poet – he has published two books and is a member of the Juazeirense Academy of Letters.
A native of Bahia, with a father from Ceará and a mother from Maranhão, Luiz Hélio produces the program live from Juazeiro, Bahia, on the border with the city of Petrolina, Pernambuco, where he now works as an advertising executive. "The first program, named after my hill on the FlamengoRJ website, aired on April 19th of this year, my birthday. Until September, it was broadcast on Rádio Cidade AM. To my surprise, through promotion on various Flamengo playlists, we began to gain a fantastic audience in several Brazilian cities and even some abroad via the web – we have listeners as far away as Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul, and Australia," says Luiz Hélio, a member of the FLA-Sertão Juazeiro Nation Embassy.
After a while, Luiz Hélio moved and took "Mengo meu Dengo" to Transamérica FM radio. "It has a much larger and more diverse audience. The idea is to continue exalting Flamengo's name throughout the São Francisco Valley (Northern Bahia and the Sertão region of Pernambuco), reporting on the club's ventures, publicizing projects, bringing team news, interviewing people connected to the club, and all this to the sound of Flamengo's immense discotheque, with a playlist of over 100 songs honoring and mentioning Mengo," adds the host, who now shares the microphone with Fábio Ramon.
In addition to lots of music, this Saturday's edition will feature references to Baiano's trip to Maracanã, to watch Flamengo x Grêmio, and a chat about the meeting of the Nation's official Embassies in a bar in Lapa, Rio.
