With just a few clicks and without leaving home, fans can purchase Flamengo's new Sacred Mantles. Mundo Flamengo, Flamengo's new official online store, is already taking pre-sales for the 2010 season. The home and away jerseys are scheduled for delivery on March 02nd. "It's the shortest lead time of any other store," says Ivens Lamartine, coordinator of the Sports Projects department at Entertainment Sports Management (ESM), the company that manages Mundo Flamengo.

The goalkeeper jerseys are not yet available for sale at Mundo Flamengo. According to Olympikus marketing manager Tullio Formicola Filho, the goalkeeper jerseys haven't yet hit the market because the manufacturing department waited for the club's sponsorship deals to be finalized, prioritizing the production of the first uniform (red-and-black). The official online store, as well as the club's and Olympikus's official stores, should be the first to receive the products.

According to Ivens Lamartine, there are other advantages to buying from the official store. "It's important for fans to know that when they buy from Mundo Flamengo, in addition to enjoying security, reliability, and convenience, they'll be supporting their favorite club, as royalties are paid to Clube de Regatas do Flamengo for every product sold through the club's official online store."

According to Flamengo's vice president of marketing, Henrique Brandão, shopping at the official online store is important for three reasons. "In addition to helping the club by acquiring official Olympikus products and the royalties generated directly from the e-commerce operator, which gives the club more control, this also increases visits to our website, which is the main gateway to the online store. And strengthening our website is a directive in which the new board has been investing heavily."

Mundo Flamengo debuted as a new and exclusive official store on December 6, 2009 – coincidentally, the day the sixth championship was won.
