Petkovic, one of the greatest recent idols in Flamengo's history, will bid farewell on Sunday (05.06), in a match against Corinthians at Engenhão Stadium. And fans will be able to immortalize this moment even more, as the club will be offering a commemorative shirt and flag for sale.
The products will be available for purchase at official kiosks located in the upper and lower east sectors of the Engenhão stadium. The flag will cost R$39,90 and the shirt R$49,90. Starting Monday (06/06), the products will be available at other stores that sell official Flamengo merchandise.
Aware of the importance of further immortalizing the image of idol Petkovic among the nation, Flamengo expects a great acceptance of the products, which will begin to be sold on Sunday.
"The presence of an idol in sports is fundamental. Petkovic helped further immortalize our number 10 jersey and, later, our number 43. Flamengo knows his importance in the club's history and how passionate the fans are about him. Precisely for this reason, we couldn't let such an important date pass us by. We created two specific products for his farewell and expect a great response," said Henrique Brandão, Flamengo's vice president of marketing.
