With nearly 100 registered participants, the "Emperor for a Day" promotion held by Flamengo has come to an end, with prizes for 40 fans. Four of them will live their day as emperor this Saturday, September 12th. Two are from Tocantins, one from Rio Grande do Norte, and one from Minas Gerais. They will arrive in Rio de Janeiro on Friday to enjoy their prizes.
The lucky winners are Décio Simplicío Paiva, from Piraúba (MG), Eugênio Cunha Guedes, from Parnamirim (RN), Ítalo Ricardo, from Palmas (TO) and Joabes Cardoso Andrade Netto, from Palmas (TO). On the first day of their stay in the city, they enjoyed a very special dinner with the muse Natália Conti, who represented Flamengo in the contest promoted by the GloboEsporte.com website. The four main winners will also receive other prizes, such as a meeting with Emperor Adriano.
The "Emperor for a Day" promotion kicked off a major fan engagement campaign. Last Monday, Flamengo officially launched its fan relationship program, "Cidadão Rubro-Negro" (Red-Black Citizen). Currently in beta, the program's website already allows fans to create profiles, invite friends, accumulate points, exchange points for prizes, and much more. Those who want to become an official Red-Black Citizen simply need to access the website and choose between the Bronze (free), Silver, and Gold plans. For fans who already participated in the "Emperor for a Day" promotion, their data is automatically saved; they just need to log in with their username and password.
