Flamengo Regatta Club today announced the five finalists for the "Flamengo até morrer, Eu Sou!" (Flamengo Until I Die, I Am!) cultural contest, which will choose the name for the club's new chain of official stores. This initiative, unprecedented in Brazilian football, will reward the fan who first suggested the name chosen by the majority of the vote. This fan will receive an official Flamengo jersey annually for the rest of their life, guaranteed by the company that will manage the official stores in partnership with the club.

In the first phase of the contest, the promotion's website received approximately 16 hits from around the world. Flamengo fans submitted more than 20 names as suggestions, and the five finalists were: Coração Rubro-Negro, Fla Shop, Loja da Nação, Mundo Fla, and Nação Rubro-Negra. Voting will be open today at www.flamengoatemorrer.com.br.

Voting is open to the public and runs until September 17th, with the final results officially announced on September 09th.
