They are essential in the stands and constantly encourage the team. However, now, Flamengo's organized supporters will be operating outside the stadiums. Concerned about helping the victims of the rain in Rio de Janeiro, the fans decided it would be a good idea to ask the red-and-black club to fully embrace this initiative.

From 13 pm, representatives of the four largest organized Flamengo fan groups will be at the Bellini statue, the entrance for Flamengo fans at Maracanã, collecting donations.
They will be on site until 16 pm and ask that fans bring non-perishable food, mineral water, clothing, as well as hygiene and cleaning supplies.

All proceeds will be sent to the municipality hardest hit by the rains: Niterói, in the Rio Metropolitan Region. For more information about the campaign, interested fans can contact André, one of the campaign's founders, at 7831-0354.

"Everyone needs to do their part at a time like this. We're sure that Flamengo fans will help a lot," said André.
