Last week, Flamengo's Young Fans demonstrated solidarity and, through their board of directors and women affiliated with the club, distributed soup kitchens to homeless people in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The social outreach, which took place in the evening and lasted about three hours, visited important points in the region such as Cinelândia, Rio Branco Avenue, Presidente Vargas Avenue, and Central do Brasil. Approximately three thousand meals were delivered, and according to José Maria, president of the fan group's board, the plan is to continue distributing meals at least once a month.
